Meet Anand
Anand found Mercy Home when his hostel shut down and he needed a place to stay. Anand was orphaned and in the 10th grade. His teachers cared deeply about him and reached out to us to help, and so we gladly opened our doors for him. At our home, Anand was introduced to Jesus Christ, and soon he began to pray and seek a relationship with God.
Anand began to study the Bible in depth and started praying fervently. Anand trusted Christ and was baptized by our own staff. He loves the Lord with heart, soul, and mind, and today he is a strong ambassador of Jesus in college. He is actively involved in college and local church ministry. His dream is to become an assistant aesthetician. He is currently studying to be a Medical Laboratory Technician.
